Procedures Performed – Brow Lift:
Frequently, as women enter their mid-thirties and forties, the brow region begins to descend—creating a “heavy” brow which makes the eyes appear smaller and more “squinty.” People who suffer from this often complain that friends and family mistake them for looking perpetually tired, worried, or even angry. It should be noted that just as the upper part of the face drops with gravity, so too does the midface region (cheek area). This woman was approaching her 50th birthday and she did not like being constantly told that she looked “so worn out” despite the fact that she was a very fit and active person. She underwent an endoscopic browlift with a mid facelift being performed at the same time through small incision hidden completely within the hairline. She also had an upper and lower eyelid Blepharoplasty concurrently in order to achieve the best possible result. As can be seen in this example, the combined effect can be very powerful—without sacrificing a natural look. She was thrilled with her result and with the fact that no one could quite put their finger on why she looked so much better.
