Procedures Performed – Hair Restoration:

This 54 year-old gentleman was interested in addressing the signficant recession of his hairline. He felt that it made him look significantly older than his age, and he disliked his appearance in photographs because of the reflective nature of his scalp. He had previously considered hair transplantation many years prior, but he was concerned by the unnatural-looking resuts from the plugs that were used at that time.

During our consultation, I reviewed the state-of-the-art hair transplantation techniques that we use today, which should result in completely natural-looking hair restoration results. This patient underwent a single session of 1800 grafts using the FUT technique. As can be seen in his post-operative photo at 11 months, the frontal tuft was thickened and the frontal hairline was lowered to reverse the recession that he had previously suffered from. The patient was thrilled with his natural-looking result.
