Smooth Out Those Unwanted Wrinkles with Juvederm

Juvederm is an FDA-approved injectable wrinkle remover made from biocompatible hyaluronic acid. The product is quite effective and the results are long lasting. Juvederm has proven to be more effective than many of the other wrinkle removers on the market.
The hyaluronic acid used in Juvederm is made in a laboratory by the process of biosynthesis. Since hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by your body, there is no chance of an allergic reaction as a result of Juvederm.
This soft-tissue filler makes your skin look young and fresh. Juvederm can be used to reduce facial lines and give the lips a better shape and appearance. It can be applied to any area of the face, including the midface and forehead.
The Injection Treatment – What to Expect
Treatment with Juvederm is very simple. The area being treated will be numbed with an anesthetic cream first. Juvederm is injected directly into the mid or deeper dermal layer of the area with creases and wrinkles or the lip region. Thin needles are used to apply the injection, because this ensures that less pressure is applied on the facial area that is being treated. The procedure takes around half an hour.
There is no discomfort during treatment. The results are visible almost immediately and last for about six to nine months or in some cases up to a year. There is only a minimal chance of any negative side effects or an allergic reaction. For more dramatic and comprehensive results, you may wish to combine Juvederm with Botox treatments.
How It Works
The body’s ability to produce hyaluronic acid is reduced over time. The Juvederm filler is used to supplement the body’s natural hyaluronic acid; it gets absorbed by the body and produces natural-looking results.
Like the naturally produced hyaluronic acid in the body, the acid in Juvederm attracts water molecules and maintains moisture in the cells of your skin. The volume and texture of your skin are enhanced by this hyaluronic acid.
Aftercare
You will be allowed to apply normal makeup after the Juvederm injection procedure. However, you cannot apply any pressure on the treated area. Unnecessary touching or massaging of the area is not allowed, as this can disrupt the smoothness and evenness of the filler.
For a couple of weeks after the treatment, the area treated should not be exposed to the sun or any heat and cold. You should apply sunscreen before stepping out; make sure that any product you use has no alcohol content in it.
Follow-up treatments and checkups are important to ensure the total success of the procedure. Any wrinkles or lines that had been missed during the injection will be filled during the follow-up session, but this is typically not needed.
