Skin texture and skin laxity change are common results of the aging process. At the Belage Cosmetic Surgery Center we tailor each client’s treatment plan to your specific concerns and aesthetic needs. Belage Center is thrilled to offer Morpheus8 to our patients.

What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a Radio Frequency (RF) fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodeled to reveal a more radiant youthful appearance.

Morpheus8 can be used on areas that can benefit from resurfacing and subdermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the face, periorbital (around the eyes), perioral (around the mouth), neck, and chest.

Morpheus8 is designed to remodel the collagen and coagulate adipose tissue by using heat to promote the production of collagen in the deeper layers of the skin revealing a tighter, smoother surface.

The Morpheus8 Procedure

Before the procedure begins, the skin will be cleaned, and a topical anesthetic cream is applied. This will help numb the skin to maintain comfort during the treatment.

The Morpheus8 handheld device, which emits radiofrequency energy, is placed against the skin, creating micro-injuries that disrupt the subdermal tissues, coagulate the fat, contract connective tissue and stimulate the production of collagen. The heat caused by the RF energy revitalizes collagen, improving skin complexion and texture for a more radiant and youthful appearance.

Benefits:

  • Enhance and firm skin texture
  • Treat acne scars and other forms of scaring
  • Reduce the effects of sun damage
  • Rejuvenate skin for a younger, luminous look

FAQs

Who Is An Ideal Candidate For Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is designed for patients who are unhappy with the texture and tone of their skin. Those looking to improve skin laxity can also benefit from this treatment. It is a safe and effective procedure that can be used on all skin types and skin tones.

How Long Is The Treatment?

The Morpheus8 treatments consist of topical numbing and treatment time. Your appointment should take no longer than one hour and thirty minutes.

Is The Treatment Painful?

Before beginning the treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied to the skin to reduce any patient discomfort. Most patients experience mild to minimal discomfort during the procedure.

What Results Can Be Expected From A Morpheus8 Procedure?

Skin texture improvement begins around 6 weeks after your first treatment. Typically, Dr. Yalamanchili recommends a series of three treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Optimal results are generally seen 3 months after your third treatment.

Is There Any Post-Procedure Care Required?

After Morpheus8 treatment, downtime is minimal. Immediately after treatment, you may experience redness and swelling (similar to a sunburn) for 1-3 days. You will be provided with a topical ointment for the first 48 hours after which you can resume using your normal moisturizer. Makeup can be applied 72 hours after treatment and patients are advised to avoid direct sun exposure as much as possible.
